General Statement
Agileon LLC (“we” or “the Company”) understands the importance of protecting the privacy of personal information, especially in today’s increasingly electronic environment. Agileon LLC does not maintain or store “personal information” as defined in applicable Wyoming regulations, meaning that we do not store your Social Security number, driver’s license number or your financial, credit card or debit card numbers. In connection with payment processing for credential renewals, agile education membership fees, or a training event, “personal information” may be collected by our third party payment processor (Stripe),  who is PCI compliant. Email Lists
When you provide your email address to us, we use it to send you information about our work. We do not sell or rent your information to others. Most emails include a link which allows recipients to unsubscribe. Alternately, you may submit the contact us form on our website, if you wish to stop receiving emails.

Data Security
The security of your personal information is very important to us and we are committed to protecting the information we collect. We have put in place appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to minimize the risk of unauthorized access to User Data, to maintain its accuracy and to ensure its appropriate use.

All credit card transactions are managed by a reputable 3rd party agent. We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving financial data. This includes the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Only Agileon LLC staff and our authorized agents have access to the information provided by visitors to our sites. Agileon LLC takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

If you are a ScrumLab user on a company account, your course and testing data may be shared with Scrum Inc., the Agile Education Program, and/or your employer. If you opt to add additional information in your profile, this information may also be shared with your employer. Class survey and testing results in ScrumLab may be shared with our trainers and training partners to improve our class curriculum. All data in ScrumLab falls under the Scrum Inc. Privacy policy which can be found on their website here.

Analytics
When you visit our sites, our third party analytics providers collect additional information. As with most websites, we analyze this information to improve the user experience and functionality of the sites. We use external services such as Google Analytics–including Google Analytics Advertising Features–and Optimizely to provide demographic and usage reporting for our sites. This reporting includes page views, unique views, unique visitors, repeat visitors, the frequency of visits, and peak-volume traffic periods. Google Analytics Advertising Features may also provide us information on your age, gender, and infer your interests.

We do not use these services to gather, request, record, require, collect or track any users’ personally identifiable information.

Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser. They are used by most websites to provide certain types of functionality, including remembering you the next time you visit. Cookies contain information about your use of a particular website but do not include information that can be used to personally identify you (e.g., they do not store your name or address).

We may use cookies to remarket our products to customers via Google’s Ad Platform.

User Generated Content
When you post a comment on our sites, you are granting Agileon LLC all rights of ownership and control related to that comment, including any attached content. Although we rarely find the need to, we reserve the right to edit or delete comments in our sole and absolute discretion. We also may block or otherwise prevent a user from making comments on our sites. Once a comment is posted, there is no way for Agileon LLC to completely erase it from the internet, so we encourage you to use good judgment when contributing comments.

All user responses to a call for ideas or a call for content submissions shall become the exclusive property of Agileon LLC, and by posting such a response, you hereby transfer all of your right and title to such content to Agileon LLC without the need for further consideration.

Logged Information
We log certain information about our users, including IP addresses, to support and improve the experience of our sites. Logging also helps us identify issues that may adversely affect your experience on our sites.

If you have any question about log files or if you are concerned that we have blocked in error an IP address that you use to access our Sites, please submit them via the contact us form on our website

Use of Information
We may use information about you for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide, maintain and improve our sites;

  • Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;

  • Provide access to our training facilities (we may share your name and contact information with building security services)

For example, if you register for a training, we may use the information you provide to send you information about the training. Or, if you register for a class using a corporate discount code or if your employer registers you for a class via our sites, we may share your data with your employer

Agileon LLC is based in the United States and the information collected is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using the site or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.

Your Rights Under GDPR
Under GDPR, EU citizens have the right to object to the use of their personal data if it is for direct marketing purposes. If you object to any personal data that we may have, you have the right to opt-out and to request rectification, erasure, or restriction. To notify us of a request, you can fill out the contact us form on our website. EU Citizens also have the right to lodge a complaint with ICO or another supervisory authority.
